Old Northwest

Invented the cotton gin and found new ways to mass produce guns. had the idea of using cheap labor
Waltham and Lowell Textile Mills
Made finished fabrics that could be made into clothes just by sewing them. They lured young farmer women into working in their factories by promising money.
Outwork
Materials were sent to women to be made into shoes and other forms of clothing, that were sent back to the factories.
