If no clearance:

  1. OCA 30deg L or R up to 5Nm then +/- 500ft
  2. China 30deg R up to 5Nm then +/- 500ft
  3. Russia 30deg R up to 16.2Nm then +/- 500ft

Minimize descent until established offset

Once offset descend to FL290 +/- 500ft

Do not change configuration until windshear is terminated

On automation, press TOGA and monitor. Verify TOGA annunciated

Approach to Stall recovery

A
  1. Call “STALL”
  2. Smooth nose down elevator
  3. Thrust reduction may be necessary at high power settings
  4. Roll wings level
  5. Increase thrust as required
  6. Compensate thrust asymmetry on single engine
  7. Speedbrakes UP
  8. Maintain configuration
  9. Return to flight path and desired attitude
  10. Re-engage automation

EO Cruise Driftdown

  1. Request EO selected on FMC ACT CRZ
  2. Ensure VNAV and set EO altitude in MCP
  3. “Execute”
  4. Verify thrust ref changes to CON
  5. Turn with HDG/TRK SEL
  6. Call “CHECKLIST ENGINE FAILURE”

  3. Smoothly adjust pitch & thrust for the command

For a climb RA in landing config:

  1. A/P OFF
  2. A/T OFF
  3. Thrust levers forward and call “FLAPS 20”
  4. Smoothly adjust pitch for the command
  5. After positive rate, call “GEAR UP”
