- Authenticate as an administrator to start the process

1) The address of the Active Directory domain
2) An Administrator user name for the Active Directory Server
3) An Administrator password for the Active Directory Server
** Server Administrator may specify the computer ID that the computer should use.**

1) Apple menu/ System Preferences
2) Users & Groups
3) Lock icon to unlock
4) Login Options
5) Join Button
6) Enter Active Directory address in the server field (When Identified dialog expands to display Active Directory Settings field)

8) (option) Edit the ID the user wants Active Directory to use for the server

1) The server name or IP address
2) Whether the server requires the Secure Socket Layer SSL protocol

1) Apple menu/ System Preferences
2) User & Groups
3) click lock to unlock
4) Login Options
5) Join Button
6) choose server from the pop-up menu or manually enter the server domain name or IP address.

There will be an option to continue or cancel the connection to the server.
