Answer 1

Conservative - pinch for 10-15 minutes
If does not stop - cautery (if bleeding site visualised) or packing (if bleeding site not visualised)
Surgery if above measures fail

What is the management of acute sinusitis?

Less than 10 days - analgesia and nasal saline
More than 10 days - nasal steroids for 14 days

Unilateral
Bleeding

What is the first line management of allergic rhinitis?

Answer 5

First line = intranasal corticosteroids + antihistamines (intranasal or non-sedating oral)

What is the management of allergic conjuctivitis?

Answer 6

Non-pharm first = application of cold compresses

Pharm = topical anti-histamines
