Q

What are 3 effects of Aerobic Exercise?

A
  • Leads to increased number of muscle capillaries & mitochondria, increase myoglobin synthesis
  • results in greater endurance, strength, and resistance to fatigue
  • Possible convert to FG fibers into FO fibers (can change up to 50:50 ratio; the absolute ratio is likely genetically pre-determined)
