Is it perjury if i lie in court?
Only if i know it to be false or do not believe it to be true and it is a material statement (important).
How do i prove an offence of false statement in criminal proceedings?
Wilfully make a written statement that is material that they know to be false or do not believe to be true.
Can you commit perjury in non criminal cases?
No - it is a separate offence of false statements on oath.
To get a witness intimidation what must the act be?
A threat or use of violence which seeks to deter the victim.
Can also be financial as well as physical
Guest asks Sarah to intimidate Tammy on his behalf whilst he is on remand. Does Sarah commit an offence?
Yes - if Sarah does an act or threatens to do an act intending to harm/cause fear of harm and Sarah does it
Knowing or believing that they or another are a witness
And they do it or threaten to do it because of their knowledge or belief

Yes and it can be to a third party too.

An offence that a person aged 18 or over may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 5 years.
