Eg: ticking metronome
Structuralism
All of Wundt and his coworkers were given the same instructions and participants given the same too
Strength of Wundt
Scientific data
Carried out in laboratory experiment
No extraneous variables
Could infer a cause and effect
Increases reliability and replicabilitt
Limitations
Subjective data
Involved participants doing a self report, which is subjective and personal opinion.
May have missed our important emotions felt at the time
Reduces validity of results
