The empire formed around 1300 when Osman conquered much of the land that was controlled by the Byzantine Empire.
When was it at its height?
It was at its height durring the reign of Suleyman around the 1520’s

Mehmed II seized it in 1453
When/how did the empire decline and end?
1924 because of weak Sultans, old fashioned weapons, loss of territory, and revolts by the people
