When the Israelites sprinkled the blood of the sacrificed Lamb on their doorposts and lintel to save them from the angel of death. This led to their freedom from slavery in Egypt.
The paschal mystery
Passion, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus which cleansed us of our sins. This comes from the Hebrew word of Passover and is celebrated at every mass.

Events strictly in the Old Testament foreshadowing the coming of Jesus Christ, our savior.

Unblemished lamb sacrificed in the first Passover. This was a prefigurement of Jesus, the lamb of god, who was sacrificed on the cross.
