Clears all obstacles within lateral range of 300ft + (0.125 dist from RWY threshold) from intended track by at least 35ft.

Dist beyond 2000ft either side of track need not be cleared. (HDG changes > 15’ need 3000ft)

One engine ceiling requirement?

Answer 2

Positive slope of at altitude at least 1000ft above all terrain and obstacles within 5nm either side of track.

And;

Positive slope at 1500ft above airport intended to land at.

Engine Out Drift down requirements?

Answer 3

Net flight path allows continue flight from cruise to airport where safe landing can be made by clearing all terrain + obstacles with 5nm track by at least 2000ft

And;

Positive slope at 1500ft of intended landing airport

1. Engine fails most critical point
2. Pass over Critical obstruction
3. Forecast Winds
4. Fuel jettison ok
5. Alternate airport meets WX requirements
6. Fuel burn for EO (from AOM)

Landing Distance limitations ?

Answer 4

Landing weight shall not exceed maximum landing weight for field either expected fuel burn to landing

Landing distance shall never exceed landing dist / 0.6.
