Transfer of an employee to an equivalent classification in a different Meet and Confer Unit does not constitute a promotion. Equivalency shall be determined by the Personnel Director.

RULE 10 PROBATION
Every employee shall work satisfactorily for a period of probation equal to __________ in each class for which he has qualified by examination, certification, and appointment in order to satisfy the requirements for regular employment in that class. A temporary appointment cannot satisfy regular employment status. Only an employee with a regular or an interim appointment can be granted appeal status after probationary requirements have been satisfied. RULE 10 PROBATION
