1

What is pharmocodynamics?

is the study of biochemical and physiological effects of drugs at the receptor level and the response produced following drug-receptor interaction(s).

2

What is the shape the receptor assume is a result of what?

primary,secondary, tertiary, quatenary interactions

3

What is the primary sequence?

amino acid backbone

4

what is the secondary structure?

from interactions between nearby amino acids in the polypeptide chain which can lead to formation of α-helix, β-pleated sheets or β-barrel.

5

What is the tertiary structure?

interactions of amino acids more distal to one another along a single amino acid chain.

6

What is the quaternary structure?

interactions of amino acids more distal to one another along a single amino acid chain.
