A spacing type where all characters take different amount of space

Controlling the amount of space a character can take up

Making every character the same amount of space

Changing the amount of space a character can take up
Layer Styles
Effects which can be applied to a type or image layer
Anti-aliasing
A feature that partially fills in pixel edges with additional colors
3D extrusion
A tool for turning a 2-dimensional object into a 3-dimensional object
Rasterized
The process of converting a normal layer to an image layer
Drop Shadow
A effect that creates an illusion that another colored layer of identical text is behind the selected type
Baseline
The invisible line that type rests on
Blending Mode
A feature that affects a layer’s underlying pixels and is used to lighten or darken colors
Crop
A process in excluding certain parts of an image
Flattening
Merging all visible layers into a single background layer and discards all hidden layers
Layer Comp
A variation on the arrangement and visibility of existing layers
