1

Parenchyma

Located in primary cell walls only, these walls are not thickened. They are typically living at maturity and are often isodiametric (expanded equally in all directions)

2

Collenchyma

Located in the primary cell walls only, but they are unevenly thickened (usually at the corners). Provides mechanical support but plasticity at the same time and is typically living at maturity. They are often elongated. and found in tissue that requires support, but is still growing.

3

Sclerenchyma

Located in primary and secondary cell walls, in some cases, the secondary wall does not contain lignin. They are often not living at maturity. Fibers are elongated and provide more mechanical support than collenchyma. Sclereids are shorter and funky shapes, they also provide support.
