A

1) Go to scene and gather all information about victim.
2) Notify on-duty supervisor the details of call (suicidal, endangered)
3. ) No minimum time to be missing and start all available units for a small child.
4. search house and all buildings for person.
5. check for notes or social media statements
6. inquire the last contact of person, their demeanor, and history of behaviors
7. Discover a cell phone and who their provider is
8. Contact anyone who may have a possible destination along with checking jails and hospitals.

A

1) Ensure appropriate task are taken and evaluate if a detective supervisor needs to be contacted.
2. Go to the scene, look for “red flags” such as adult leaving on own free will or anything that suggest signs of foul play.
3) Supervisor will contact detective supervisor.
4) If a detective does not respond, supervisor is responsible for person to be entered into NCIC and send an email to PD All commissioned with details and the case number.
