What is gb?
A
It a polyneuropathy occur due to acute inflammation or post infective demyelinating disease of 1-3weeks after respiratory and diarrhea

Infecting organisms?
A
Ebv, cmv, campylobacter jejuni

Clinical features?
A
Ascending paralysis
Bulbar and facial or respiratory muscles
Absent reflexes
There may be autonomic neuropathy like hypo-hyper, tachy, brady cardia

Management?
A
Nursing care Nutrition Plasmapheresis effective if initiate with first 2 weeks of illness Immunoglobulin No role of corticosteroids
