When we use present perfect

A
  • The present perfect tense is used to indicate actions or events that have happened at some unspecified time before now:
    o They have visited many countries.
  • Actions that began in the past and continue in the present:
    o She has lived here all her life.
  • Life experiences up to the present:
    o I have never seen the Eiffel Tower.
  • Recent actions:
    o I have just arrived. (Use “just” to emphasize recent completion)
    o They have already left. (Use “already” to show the action happened before expected)
