Q

How do we assess image quality

A

Test object xray and assess resulting image against baseline - can use step wedge (overlapping layers of lead foil)

Q

How does damage to phosphor plates present

A

o White lines = scratches
o Network of white lines = cracking from flex
o White areas around edges = delamination (separation of phosphor layer from baseplate)
