There are two exams, one on Friday, March 2nd and the other on Monday, April 30th.

How do you prepare for a flipped class meeting?
Read the assigned reading and watch the assigned video.
How do you find out what to read for class?
Look at the schedule on TRACS.
How many unexcused absences can you have with no penalties?
Two.
What’s the penalty for an unexcused absence once you’ve used your freebies?
Each absence will result in a 3% deduction from your final grade, up to a 30% deduction,
What’s a necessary absence, and what should you do if you have one?
It is something planned, like a doctor’s appointment or a university event. You should provide documentation within 48 hours.
What’s an emergency absence, and what should you do if you have one?
It is something unplanned, like hospitalization or death in the family. You should provide documentation to the Dean of Students for an Absence Notification Request, which, if approved, will get you a notification for your professors.
What should you do if you plan to miss class to observe a religious holy day?
Get a Religious Holy Day Absence form from the Dean of Students, fill it out, get it approved by the Dean, get the professor to approve and initial it all before the 15th calendar day of class, and then re-present it to the professor right before it occurs. Make-up work is expected to be turned in.
When can you make up an assignment?
At the instructor’s discretion and within 48 hours of the absence.
