A

• Length of residence= stronger opinion of place (either positive or negative).
• Gender= Perception of safety may differ, some workplaces dominated by one gender.
• Stage of life= Young adults may prefer locations with close by work, shops and facilities. Older people and young families may prefer more secluded space.
• Memories.
• Studentification= can affect attachment based on preference.
• Ethnicity= migrants may have increased attachment if moving to a place with a diaspora.
