What are absolute indications for Renal replacement therapy?

A
  • Severity of condition increases
  • Hyperkalaemia persistent (K+ >7 mmol/l)
  • Acidosis is metabolic and worsening (pH <7.2 or base excess <–10)
  • Refractory pulmonary oedema
  • Pericarditis (uraemic)
  • Encephalopathy (uraemic)
