1 RHR pump can be our for 1 hr per 8 hrs if:

1 RHR Loop may be INOP for 2 hrs for testing IF other RHR Loop is operable and in operation

2 RHR Loops Operable, with 1 loop in operation

All RHR can be out for < 30 mins when switching loops IF: No dilutions violate SDM and Core out temp > 10*F below sat temp and No more draining RCS volume of boring reduction

1 RHR Loop can be INOP 2 hrs for testing if other RHR loop is OPERABEL and in operation

Mode 5 With Loops filled if you have 1 RHR Loop and 2 SG water levels greater than WR Level instrument

Why must core reload be stopped in M6 with cavity level > 23 ft if both RHR Pumps are inoperable?

A

Because 1 loop is needed in operation to provide for adequate RCS mixing and control or RC Temperature.
