What is the importance of Du’a to a Muslim?

A

It is a very personal experience which allows you to communicate with God and feel a close connection as u “talk” to him. Du’a allows them to essentially feel closer to god, further cementing their belief in him when they speak to him as if he were a close companion by sharing their deepest thoughts and feelings.
