A

O: medial two-thirds of subscapular fossa and tendinous intramuscular septa

I: lesser tubercle of humerus, anterior capsule of shoulder joint

D:

A: medially rotates shoulder

N: upper and lower subscapular nerve (C5,6)

A

O: dorsal surface of inferior scapular angle

I: medial lip of intertubercular sulcus of humerus

Latissimus dorsi

A

O: spinous processes of lower six thoracic and all lumbar and sacral vertebra, intervening supra-and interspinous ligaments, outer lip of iliac crest, outer surface of lower three or four ribs, inferior angle of scapula.

I: intertubercular sulcus of humerus

D:

A: extends, adducts and medially rotates shoulder

N: thoracodorsal nerve (C6-8)

pectoralis major

A

O: Clavicular attachment- sternal half of anterior surface of clavicle.
Sternocostal attachment- anterior surface of manubrium, body of sternum, upper six costal cartilages, sixth rib aponeurosis of external oblique muscle

I: lateral lip of intertubercular sulcus of humerus

D:

A: adducts, medially rotates, flexes and extends shoulder

N: medial and lateral pectoral nerves (C5-T1)
