What is a strength state?
It is the amount of cadets, attachments and staff
What is a CASEVAC?
It is a casualty evacuation
What is a MAINTDEM?
It is a maintenance demand
What is a priority 1 CASEVAC?
Evacuation essential to save life or prevent serious permanent disability
What is a priority 2 CASEVAC?
Evacuation within six hour or condition will deteriorate to a priority one casualty
What is a priority 3 CASEVAC?
Evacuation required within 24 hours
What is a MAINTDEM priority 1?
Operation cannot continue without demanded supplies
What is a MAINTDEM priority 2?
Operations will cease within the next 6 hours without supplies
What is a MAINTDEM priority 3?
Daily demand request (non-urgent)
What are the 6 steps when loss of communication?
- Stop
- Check batteries
- Hold up radio
- Request radio check
- Try relay procedure
- Move to higher ground

7 things
- Hold PPT button for 2-3 seconds before and after speaking
- Never interrupt conversations when speaking
- Never say ‘over and out’ - over after sentence, out when finished
- Roger means I agree
- I spell - phonetic alphabet
- I say again - not I repeat
- The person who starts the call must end the call
