A
- open clam on box
- open box
- tear off strip and take out
- unfold, put both hands to widen neck seal
- ease smokehood over head, adjust over nose and mouth
- pull lanyard at bottom
- tie belt around back to front
- push long hair under neck seal and re-adjust to nose and mouth
- have flight crew informed
- after use, undo belt, grap top with both hands an take off

requires three powerful breathing cycles to restart filtration process
