Staging in -line of approach shall be utilized on all box alarms by all units except the:
1st and 2nd due Engine

Stage Personnel and equipment in incidents involving high rise or other large buildings.
Interior Staging on a high-rise building will be at least 3 floors below the fire floor
Interior staging on a major building may be in a separate wing or any location protected from the incident conditions.
Interior staging should be limited to Type 1( fire resistance)and 2 (non-combustible)building types
