4 Key Elements to your story

A

Relevant when your doing a MG, sharing your story, reconnecting, etc. Need to understand how to go from selling to someone to sharing with someone.

  1. Background - What do you do (work related);
  2. What you don’t like about what you are doing (i.e. not making enough money, lack of time, inability to do what you want to do);
  3. Found a solution - Tie in the people you got connected with, the results they achieved.
  4. Teaching you how to do what they’ve done (why you are excited)

Your Story

A

My background is in auditing. I worked in various CPA firms and currently in an internal audit role with the City of Seattle. I realized after working for 13 years, that I wasn’t going to make enough money and have the time to pursue the things I want to do in life.

I want to spend more time with my family, sow into my kids and give to organizations that I value. I realized that after years of doing the same thing, nothing was going to change.

Kind of a coincidence or twist of fate, my wife and I got connected with some of the most successful business men and women that have actually built assets (really wealthy and successful companies) that have allowed them to have the option to walk out of their jobs at an early age. This have allowed them to spend more time traveling, enjoying their passions and we really wanted that. We never met anyone that done that before. They had the answer to our problems.

So, we pursed them like crazy, chasing them around for a few months, and finally convinced them to teach us what they know. Now we are excited and pumped out our mind because they are teaching us how to develop a business that’s actually going to allow us to spend more time with each other, our kids, travel more, and invest in our family.
