Story 9 : من يرضع الطفل؟

Question 1

و كان الطفل الجديد و كان الطفل الجميل لعبة القصر و لهو الدار

Answer 1

And the new beautiful child became the comfort and the amusement of the house.

Question 2

كل يأخذه يقبّله و كل يحبّه و يمدحه لأن الملكة تحبّه حبا عظيما

Answer 2

Every individual was hugging him and kissing him and every individual fell in love with him and was praising him because the queen loved him greatly.

Question 3

فكيف لا تحبّه سيدات القصر و كيف لا يحبّه خدم القصر

Answer 3

How could the madams of the palace not love him and how could the servants of the palace not love him.

Question 4

و كل يأخذه و يقبّله لأن الطفل جميل

Answer 4

Everyone would embrace him and kiss him because the child was beautiful.

Question 5

و طلبت الملكة مرضعا ترضع الطفل و جائت و اخذت الطفل و لكن الطفل يبكي و يأبى

Answer 5

The queen sought for a wet nurse so she may suckle the child. And she came and embraced the child but the child was crying and refusing.

*The queen sought another wet nurse and she became present and embraced the child, however, the child was crying and refusing. (missing)

Question 6

و ثالثة و رابعة و خامسة و لكنّ الطفل يبكي و يأبى

Answer 6

And a 3rd and a 4th and a 5th but the child would cry and refuse.

Question 7

عجبا! لماذا لا يرتضع الطفل لأي شيء يبكي؟

Answer 7

Astonishing! Why is the child not suckling? For which reason is he crying?

Question 8

اجتهدت المراضع ان ترضع الطفل لتُسرَ الملكة و تنال منها جائزة و لكن الله حرّم عليه المراضع

Answer 8

The wet nurses exhausted themselves in suckling the child so that they may make the queen happy, so that they may attain the prize from her. However, Allah (s.w.t) made the wet nurses haram upon him.

Question 9

و اصبع الطفل حديث القصر و شغل الدار

Answer 9

And the child became the talk of the palace and the distraction of the house.

Question 10

هل رايت يا اختي الطفل الجديد

Answer 10

Oh sister, did you see the new child?

Question 11

نعم قد رايته طفل جميل جدا

Answer 11

Yes, I definitely saw him. A very beautiful child!.

Question 12

و لكنه طفل غريب ليس كالأطفال! انه لا يرتضع

Answer 12

However, he is a strange child, not like other children! Surely he is not suckling.

Question 13

و اذا اخذته مرضع يبكي و يأبى ان يرتضع ؛ مسكين كيف يعيش؟ انه يموت

Answer 13

When a wet nurse embraces him, he starts crying and refuses to suckle. Poor child, how will he live? Definitely he is going to pass away.

Question 14

نعم قد مضى عليه ايام و لم يرتضع

Answer 14

Yes, many days have passes by upon him, yet he was not suckled.
