  • cooperation of ISGBs and politicians in Europe –> making the overall costs and benefits of the event visible!
    R1a) development of a standarised measurement tool
    R1b) focus on economic, social & environmental issues
  • responsibility should move from a temporary oganising committee to a permanent governing body
    R2a) controlling the long-term use of venues, and implement social/green projects

R3) plan legacy early - prevention plan of non-used structures, boost positive legacy

R4) Governments should use the events and their power to develop educational curriucula in order to trigger sustainable thinking/acting (collect garbage etc.)
