L/R AC BUS..............CHECKED & ON

1. Place Left and Right AC BUS switches ON
2. Ensure Left and Right AC BUS annunciators are extinguished
3. Ensure Left and Right Inverter Frequency 380-420 Hertz
4. Place Left AC BUS switch OFF, then TRANSFER
a. Verify L AC BUS Annunciator Illuminated, then extinguish (the left AC BUS now owered by the right inverter)
5. Place Left AC BUS switch ON. Place Right AC BUS switch OFF the TRANSFER
a. Verify R AC BUS Annunciator Illuminate, then extinguish (the left AC bus now powered by the left inverter)
6. Place Right AC BUS switch ON

Bus Sense Switch.....................TESTED

1. Hold Bus Sense Switch to TEST
a. Verify L and R GEN TIE OPEN and BATT TIE OPEN annunciators are illuminated
2. Center bus voltage should read zero VDC
3. Move Bus Sense Switch to RESET
a. Verify L and R GEN TIE OPEN and BATT TIE OPEN annunciators are extinguished

Gen Ties........................CHECKED

1. Move GEN TIES switch to OPEN
a. Verify L and R GEN TIE OPEN annunciators are illuminated
2. Verify Triple Fed Bus voltage check 26.5-28.0 Volts
3. Move GEN TIES switch to NORM
a. L and R GEN TIE OPEN annunciators are extinguished

Left DC Load.........................CHECKED

1. Turn Right Generator OFF
2. Turn on all ice protection switches (left and right pitot heat, stall heat, fuel vent heat...etc.) one at a time, noting the associated annunciators extinguishing with a corresponding increase in the Left DC Load meter.
3. One at a time turn on the Windshield Heat to NORMAL and HIGH and note an increase in the Left DC Load meter
4. Turn Windshield Heat to NORMAL and HIGH and note an increase in the Left DC Load meter.
5. Move Automatic Prop Deice Switch momentarily to AUTO
a. Monitor Deice Ammeter to ensure 32-38 (UE 79 and above) amperes on either left or right scale.
b. Note increase in Left DC Load
6. Move Automatic Prop Deice Switch OFF and note decrease in left DC Load
7. Within 5 seconds, Move Automatic Prop Deice Switch to ON
a. Deice ammeter monitor to ensure 32-38 (UE 79 and above) amperes
b. Note increase in Left DC Load
8. Move Automatic Prop Deice switch to OFF and note decrease in Left DC Load
9. HOLD Manual Prop Deice Switch in MANUAL
a. Deice Ammeter monitor to ensure 32-38 (UE 79 and above) amperes
b. Note increase in DC Load
10. Release Manual Prop Deice Switch to OFF and note decrease in Left DC load
11. Place all ice protection switches off, one at a time
a. Note corresponding annunciators illuminating as each switch is placed in the OFF position
b. Note decreasing Left DC Load as eah switch is turned off.
12. Move Right Generator to RESET, then ON
13. Verify Left and Right DC Load meters paralleled withing 10%

Right DC Load.................CHECKED

1. If a cross generator start was performed, the load was checked when the left engine was started.

Surface Deice.................CHECKED

1. Move Surface Deice switch to SINGLE and RELEASE
a. Pneumatic pressure gauge decreases momentarily
b. OUTBD WING DEICE annunciators illuminate within an additional 6 seconds, then extinguish
c. INBD WING DEICE and TAIL DEICE annunciators illuminate within an additional 6 seconds then extinguish
d. If possible, check boots visually for inflation and hold down
2. Move Surface Deice switch to MANUAL and HOLD
a. Pneumatic pressure gauge decreases momentarily
b. OUTBD WING DEICE, INBD WING DEICE, and TAIL DEICE annunciators illuminate
c. If possible, check boots visually for inflation and hold down
3. Surface Deice switch RELEASE
a. Verify OUTBD WING DEICE, INBD WING DEICE, and TAIL DEICE annunciators extinguish
b. If possible check boots visually for inflation and hold down

Engine Anti-ice......Checked

1. Place Eng Anti-Ice Actuator Switches to STANDBY
2. Move Eng Anti-Ice Switches OFF
a. Verify L and R ENG ANTI-ICE annunciators are extinguished
3.. Place Eng Anti-Ice Actuator Switches to MAIN
4. Move Eng Anti-Ice Switches ON
a. Verify L and R ENG ANTI-ICE annuciators are illuminated

Altimeter............SET (CA & FO)

1. Set the local altimeter setting

Altitude Alerter................TESTED

1. Adjust Pilot's Baro Set Knob for nearest 100 foot altimeter reading, or 300 feet whichever is higher.
2. Set Altitude Alert Panel to match altimeter reading
3. Adjust Pilot's Baro set Knob to increase and decrease altitude
4. At 200 feet from initial altitude, verify that:
a. Warning horn sounds for approximately 2 seconds
b. The ALT ALERT annunciator on the pilot's and copilot's panels and on the altitude alert panel blinks on and off
5. Adjust Pilot's Baro Set Knob to field elevation setting

GPS....................TESTED

1. On the first test page of the GPS ensure the database has not expired by noting the effective dates and pressing ENT
2. Place EHSI in HSI mode
3. Press the CRS SEL button as necessary to select LNAV
4. Press the single pointer button as necessary to select LNAV
5. Compare the items displayed in the GPS to what is displayed on the EHSI
6. Select either ARC or MAP on WX side
7. Push ENT on the GPS

TCAS................TESTED

1. Set ENCD ALTM switch (Avionics Panel) to ALTM 1
2. Set Pilot's Altimeter to 29.92 In. Hg
3. Press Test Button momentarily
a. Verify, on test screen monitor, that Altitude at bottom of screen is within+/- 100 feet of pilot's altimeter reading
4. Verify Voice Message "TCAS TEST PASSED" is heard over the cockpit speakers
5. Reset Pilot's Altimeter to current barometric setting

EFIS..........................TESTED

1. Push and hold, Pilot's Side PLT TEST
a. Observer 10 degrees pitch up and 10 degrees right roll indication on EADI
b. Observer 20 degrees heading increase on EHSI
c. Observe Red TEST flag in upper left corner of EADI
2. After 2-3 seconds Observe the above indications and
a. Verify amber PIT/ROL comparator annunciator on pilot's and copilot's EADI
b. Verify blinking amber HDG comparator annumciator on pilot's and copilot's EHSI
c. Verify steady amber COMPARE PUSH TO RESET annunciator on pilot's and copilot's instrument panel
3. After 5 seconds observe the above indications and
a. Verify the sky/ground display disappears from the EADI
b. Verify the following red flags are displayed on the EADI: ATT, XDTA, RA, DSP. The flags will blink for 10 seconds and then become steady
c. Verify the following red flags are displayed on the EHSI: HDG, SDTA, DSP. They will also blink for 10 seconds and then become steady.
4. Once all the flags have stopped blinking release the PLT TEST SWITCH
5. Push COMPARE PUSH TO RESET buttons to reset comparator annunciators
6. Push and hold, Copilot's Side, COPLT TEST
a. Observe 10 degrees pitch down and 10 degrees left roll indication on the EADI
b. Observer 20 degrees decrease in heading on the EHSI
7. The remaining results will be the same as in steps 2 and 3
8. Once all the flags have stopped blinking release the COPLT TEST SWITCH
9. Push COMPARE PUSH TO RESET buttons to reset comparator annunciators

Radar...............TESTED

1. Select MAP or ARC on the WX side of the Pilot's and Copilot's EHSI
2. Select range to 25 NM on WX Radar
3. Adjust tilt to +5 degrees
4. Select TEST position on the WX radar
5. Verify that each color is displayed

CVR...................TESTED

1. Plug headset into CVR jack
2. Press and hold DVR TEST Button for a minimum of 5 seconds
a. Listen for tone in headset
b. Observer meter needle in green band
3. Speak into area mic on glare shield
a. Verify voice is heard in headset

Electric Elevator Trim............TESTED

1. Select ELEV TRIM Switch to ON
2. Check Pilot's and Copilot's Trim Switches
a. Verify Pilot's trim overrides the copilot's trim
b. Movement of only half of the switch will not activate trim
3. Depress Trim Disonnect Switch to 2nd level and release
a. Verify PITCH TRIM OFF annunciator is illuminated
b. Electric pitch trim is deactivated
4. Move ELEV TRIM Switch to OFF then to ON
a. Verify PITCH TRIM OFF annunciator is extinguished

Yaw Damper...............TESTED

1. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Damp Select Switch to Left computer
2. Engage the Yaw Damp
a. Verify YD annunciators on Pilot's and Copilot's EADI are illuminated
b. Verify YAW annunciator on Pilot's Flight Control Panel are illuminated
3. Check Rudder pedals for added resistance
4. Press Control wheel disconnect switch to firest level
a. Yaw damp will disengage
5. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Damp switch to Right Computer
6. Repeat steps 2 - 4

Yaw Control / Rudder Boost............TESTED

1. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Damp to Left Computer
2. Engage the Yaw damp
3. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Control Test Switch to YAW CONTROL TEST
a. Ensure Yaw Damp disengages
b. RUD BOOST OFF annunciator illuminates
4. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Control Test Switch to RUDDER BOOST
5. Select Rudder Boost/Yaw Damp Switch to Right Computer
6. Repeat steps 2 - 4
