Q

Grasping 拿法

A

Away from body. Use fingers to lift/pinch muscle rhythmically.

17
Q

Percussions 擊法(合掌叩)

A

Hitting or beating the body surface with back of fist, palmar, the minor the the bar of the ulnar palm and fingertip driven by the wrist joint.

18
Q

Thumb Pressing

A

Force exertion should be at the centre of the fingerprint of thumb not the joint.

19
Q

Overlapping Thumb

A

Manipulation for spots where deep thumb pressure is required. Upper thumb should not press too hard overloading the bottom thumb.

20
Q

Overlapping Palm

A

Larger area where deep pressure is required on muscle.

21
Q

General Pressing

A

Gradually exert thumb pressure at each point for 3-5 seconds.

22
Q

Gradual Pressing

A

Gradually increasing the force at a spot to depth 1 and pressure remained for 3 sec, then depth 2 at deeper pressure which is kept for another 3 sec. Whole process about 5-7 second. (For patient who required time to get accustomed to the increase in pressure)

23
Q

Continuous Pressing

A

Pressure is exerted for 5-10 second. (Majorly use palm)

24
Q

Focus Pressing

A

Also continuous pressing that exert pressure at a spot with thumb for 5-10 second and pressure gradually reduced.

25
Q

Flow Pressing 流動壓法

A

Pressure exerted by the thumb in 1-2 seconds and then the thumb is moved up or down to another spot rhythmically.

26
Q

Vibration Pressing

A

Finger and palm are in close contact with the skin, apply vibration and exert pressure for 5-10 seconds. Repeat manipulation for a few times.
