The trachea is the breathing tube which is held open by rings of cartilage.
The ribcage is a set of ribs which cover your vital organs such as the heart or the lungs, it moves with your ribs in and out so when your lungs come out they don't get squashed.
It is a passage of airway that brings air into your lungs.
