What was the Treaty of Versailles, when and where was it signed?
The Treaty of Versailles was the Treaty Germany was forced to sign after the defeat of Germany and its allies in WW1. It was signed on June 28th 1918 in the hall of mirrors in the palace of Versailles

Germany was to pay 132 billion gold
marks in reparations to Allied countries. Equivalent to $USD 4,125,000,000 in 1919
