caused by toxin made by bacteria. causes thick coating in the back of the nose/throat, making it hard to breathe and swallow. can be deadly.
Tetanus (Lockjaw)
painful tightening of muscles all over the body. locking the jaw so that victim cannot open the mouth or swallow. Death: 2 in 10.

contagious respiratory disease, violent coughing that makes it hard to breathe. needs to take deep breaths after coughing fits. Deadly and most common for infants and young children.
