State
Another name for a country
Nation-State
A state whose teritory coresponds to that ocupied by a perticular ethnicity that has transformed into a nationality
Sovereignty
Ability of a State to govern its teritory free from control of its internal affairs by other states.
Stateless Nation
Cultural group that does not have any independent political entities
Semiautononous Nation
Area within a state that is somewhat self-governed
Autonomous Nation
Area within a state that is self-governed, but relies on the state’s government
Multinational State
A state that contains 2 or more ethnic groups
Multistate Nation
nation has own state, but it extends into other states
Colonialism
An attempt by one county to establish settlements and to impose its principles on another teritory
