Always singular pronouns
Pronouns that could be plural or sing.
Do you use singular or plural with:
If subjects are joined by "AND" you use the plural form of verb
If subjects are joined by "NOR/OR" then you agree with the subject that is closer with it.
Collective noun practice
The team is on a winning streak.
The high school varsity team are going to give different colleges next year.
Here and there
Here and there can never be the subject of the sentence.
Many an, every, or each before the subject
If the many an, every or each precedes a single or compound subject, the verb is singular.
