A

During the 2nd male x female duet
- The male dancer stands facing the audience, the female dancer is crouched down to the floor and grabs his left leg with both her hands. The male dancer then suddenly juts his leg upwards, bent at the knee , towards the females dancers face. As a reaction, the female quickly turns her head away from the males leg, taking her body with it, as she falls to the floor.
—> Signifies the male kicking the female, highlighting hatred and mistreatment of women- which reflects the theme of male chauvinism

A

The Rooster Strut
- The Male soloist performs a series of deep, extended walks forward, jutting his head rhythmically, his elbows bent inwards with relaxed wrists- before transferring all of his weight onto his back leg, and then returning to doing the rooster strut until he reaches centre stage
—> Mirrors the actions of a Rooster, establishing himself as the alpha male and represents male arrogance
