Q
Animal Placement Policy, Compassionate Care Policy
A
- If someone brings a stray animal, they have to pay for their services and assume ownership.
- BluePearl’s COMPASSIONATE CARE POLICY allows us to provide medical care for stray animals or cases of manageable conditions but financial difficulty.
- Animals covered under this policy include: Stray animals, or animals for which an owner does not elect treatment and may consider surrendering to an animal humane organization. (Animals cannot be surrendered directly to BluePearl)
- Compassionate Care Policy ONLY applies to ER. It provides the minimum standard of outpatient care for cases presented to the emergency service when the client is unable to pay for the cost of treatment.
