High AOA Rudder-Induced Departure(Deep Stall investigation)

A

Above 19,000’ / 200kts
1. IDLE
2. 10° Nose High
3. Stall at 24-26 Units
4. Pull to 27-28 Units
5. Rudder only to counter roll
6. Full aft stick, half rudder then full rudder in opposite direction
7. Recover to nearest horizon

Any roll of 90° or more = recover

70° Nose High Departure

A

Above 14,000’ / 300kts
17 unit pull to 70° Nose High
IDLE Passing 150kts
Aft Stick to hold 70° untill departure
Neutralize Flight Controls As They Become Ineffective
Recover increasing through 150kts to nearest horizon
