Flexibility
the amount of movement possible at a joint
Muscular Endurance
Ability of a muscle group to undergo continuous contractions without fatigueing
Speed
the maximum rate at which an individual is able to perform a movement or distance in a period of time
Strength
the ability to overcome a resistance
Cardio-vascular endurance
the ability of the the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscles
Reaction time
time taken to respond to a stimulus
Agility
ability to change direction quickly at speed
Power
product of strength and speed. also known as explosive strength
Balance
ability to keep the body stable by supporting the centre of mass over the base of support
Co-ordination
the ability to control two or more body parts at once smoothly.
