Comes from within, the desire to perform a task for its own sake
Intrinsic motivation
Adding extrinsic rewards to something you intrinsicly like doing makes you not want to do it anymore (excessive rewards can reduce motivation
Overjustification effect
Intelligent animals, especially humans, have the ability to copy someones behavior (Monkey see, Monkey do)

Learning by observation begins early in life. This 14-month-old child imitates the adult on TV
Imitation onset
Conducted the bobo doll study (1961) which indicated that individuals (childred) learn through imitating others
Albert bandura
The behavior of others serves as a model, an example of how to respond to a situation; we may try this model regardless of reinforcement
Modeling
Means our choices are affected as we see others get consequences for their behaviors

Process of learning through other peoples behavior. puting yourself in other peoples shoes.
