A

17,000 feet

20
Q

Max altitude for APU operation?

A

A

10,000 feet

23
Q

Holding in icing conditions with flaps extended is?

A

Prohibited

24
Q

At what temperature do you not operate wing anti-ice on the ground?

A

OAT is above 10 degrees C

25
Q

737 NG can have one generator operating (engine driven) with a maximum of how many amps? How about the 737 Max?

A

NG - 215 amps
MAX - both on ground or in the air 215 amps

26
Q

How long after the irs shuts down can you remove AC power from the aircraft?

A

At least 30 seconds after IRS shutdown

27
Q

Maximum EGT for ground start NG & MAX?

A

NG - 725 c
MAX - 753 c

28
Q

How long should the thrust levers be at or near idle after engine start before applying takeoff thrust ? How about for engine shutdown?

A

Engine start
NG - 2 minutes
MAX - 3 minutes

Shutdown
NG - 1 minutes
MAX - 3 minutes

29
Q

Max altitude flaps extended?

A

Above 20,000 feet

30
Q

Lowest altitude to use speed brakes?

A

1,000 feet

31
Q

How many minutes off after using ALTERNATE FLAP duty cycle?

A

5 mins off

32
Q

Beyond what flap setting can we not use the speedbrakes?

A

Greater than flaps 10

33
Q

Max fuel tank temp?

A

+49 c

34
Q

Min fuel tank temp?

A

-37 c

35
Q

What is the minimum altitude for autopilot engagement?

A

1,000 ft AGL

36
Q

How long does the IRS need after shutdown before removing AC power from the aircraft? Why?

A

30 seconds after IRS shutdown
Allows verification and storage of last known position.

37
Q

What are all of the Anti-Ice rain checked limitations (4)?

A

1.Holding in icing conditions with with Flaps

  1. Don’t operate wing anti-ice on the ground when OAT is above 10c
  2. Do not use wing anti-ice as a substitute for ground driving/anti-icing and inspection procedures which are necessary to comply with operating rules
  3. Do not operate weather radar during fueling, near fuel spills, or near people
38
Q

Air systems: what is the checked limitation ?

A

With engine bleed air switches on, do not operate the air conditioning packs in HIGH for takeoff, approach, or landing.

39
Q

Air systems: what is the checked limitation note?

A

The fire protection non-normal procedures (QRH) take precedence over the statement regarding no air conditioning pack in HIGH during takeoff, approach, or landing. The CARGO FIRE and Smoke or Fumes Removal checklists require the operating pack switches to be placed in HIGH in order to increase ventilation for smoke removal

40
Q

Checked limitations: Flight controls first 3 of 6?

A
  1. Do not extend flaps above 20,000’ PA
  2. The ALTERNATE FLAP position switch must be in the OFF position for 15 seconds before reversing the direction of flap movement. A complete cycle is movement from position 0 to 15 and back to 0. Then need 5 minutes off.
  3. In flight do not extend the speed break lever beyond the flight detent
41
Q

Checked limitations: Flight controls last 3 of 6?

A
  1. Do not use speed brakes in flight below 1,000’ AGL
  2. In flight, do not use speed brakes with greater than flaps 10
    • 700 - Do not operate the aircraft at speeds in excess of 320 kt at weights over 143,000 lbs if the speedbrake wing load alleviation system is inoperative.
42
Q

Check limitations: min and max fuel temp?

A

Min fuel tank temp -37c
Max fuel tank temp +49c

Note: Jet A freeze point is -40c and other listed fuels freeze at lower temperatures

43
Q

Check limitations: Fuel distribution note 5.

A

Main tanks must be full if the center tank quantity is greater than 1,000 lbs

  1. 1,000 lbs may be retained in the center tank provided the effects of weight and balance have been considered.
44
Q

Check limitations: Fuel distribution note 6 &7:

A
  1. Center tank fuel pumps must be ON for all operations with more than 1,000 lbs of fuel in the center tank.
  2. Some MEL items can override this limitation.
