I’m Aditya and I come from Mumbai. I’m an IT engineer from the University of Mumbai and a self taught graphic designer with a work experience of 1.5 years and was responsible to handle the design team at ‘MyPlaques’.
A highly energetic person by nature, I would describe myself as a team player who also values individual and collective goals.
I prioritize my health and wellbeing as I believe they are fundamental for clarity of thought.
I’m an avid learner, In free time I constantly explore new stuff such as personal finance. Additionally, I am learning the game of Poker, which I’ve realised, is a game of skill and not gambling as it is perceived to be.
Generally, I like to have a routine to my life and take simple but incremental steps to grow on an individual and team level. Realising my passion for continuous learning and growth, I want to pursue an MBA as it aligns with my goal to explore a wider range of opportunities.
Why MBA over MS?
I initially in my first year I considered pursuing an MS during my engineering, where I will get a deeper understanding of one particular area of business however through those years I realised I want the freedom to have an interdepartmental look at how businesses run and the to explore multiple areas of business.
Which Specialization would you choose?
Considering my diverse experiences and my personality, I want to pursue General Management.

In the moment I don’t have a dream company in mind, but I seek a place where I can grow, make an impact, and align with its values and mission. Culture and growth opportunities are just as important to me as the brand name.
How would you use your experience in IT and Graphic designing in MBA?
Both IT and graphic design involve finding creative solutions to problems. Knowledge of information technology and design software could be applied in various business operations (especially in data analysis, marketing and process optimization). Understanding the design process and fluency in visual communication can help in creating effective presentations. This will also help in better understanding of customer needs and preferences, which is valuable for a business school program where students are expected to analyze and resolve business challenges.
Why did you quit your job?
I always seek new challenges and opportunities for growth. And I gained valuable skills and gained valuable experience in your previous role, you felt ready for a new challenge and saw an MBA program as a way to take your career to the next level.

What was a challenge faced by you in you work?
One challenge I faced in my last position was the limited computational power of my laptop for video editing. To overcome this, I researched ways to optimize software utilization and adjust my video workflow. The initial learning phase also required me to dedicate 5-6 hours daily to watching video tutorials on YouTube, while still performing other tasks. Despite these challenges, I was able to manage the work effectively.
Tell me about your IT background and what you have learned from it?
I worked as a web developer, where I built websites using SQL, PHP, CSS, and HTML in the backend to develop the functionality, interface, and appearance of each site. I was then able to create a website mock-up to show to each client for approval. Once approved work on the finished product.
