Army aviation records, information and reports require unique management to support the safety and airworthiness of aircraft, UA and all associated subsystems and components.
Covers procedures for filling out forms and records manually or utilizing the current aviation LIS to help accomplish this effort.
Aircrew members, mechanics, TIs, maintenance managers, record clerks, supervisors, and commanders at all levels of maintenance, including DOD contract support personnel and activities, are responsible for maintaining forms and records in accordance with this pamphlet.
Commanders may execute disciplinary action when data/forms or records are purposely and/or intentionally lost, falsified, damaged or destroyed.
DA Form 2410
Component Removal/Repair/Install/Gain/Loss Record:
The DA Form 2410 provides a method of recording and reporting maintenance data on selected aircraft, components and modules.

Aircraft Inspection and Maintenance Record

Provides a record of aircraft and aviation associated equipment condition status and other aircraft maintenance information. Shows the present status of the aircraft.
Aircraft Notebook
Consists of the Platform Maintenance Application software and the Maintenance Support Device laptop computer providing the user forms, records, and platform specific applications.
Reduce the user manual inputs required to record maintenance activities and complete associated maintenance forms and will enhance the fleet manager’s knowledge of performed maintenance tasks and associated faults.
