Fiducial marker is just a REFERENCE point that can be anything , so that yiu can always refer back to it
- it could be a clamp, sellotape, marker etc

• place at EQUILBKRUM position or a positon WHICH ALWAYS IS CONSTANT, and then measure from there
  (If placed at amplitude in SHM PAG, then as with dampening this changed not good, placed at EQUILBKRUM always there, so can measure time periods by seeing time taken to complete an oscislltion through the marker.,.)

How to measure using a ruler?

• use a set sqaure to ensure ruler is straight with level ground
  Can use a GRID in the background , such as sqaure paper, straightened with a set sqaure, and then this can easily be used to mwadure

Avoid parallax?

Use a CAMERA slow motion, and MOVE THE CAMERA with the moving ball so that parallax is removed
