Indications

difficult, painful urination with sensation of heat in the urethra
swollen and pruritic external genitalia
foul-smelling leukorrhea
women: menstrual cycle shortened, menstrual blood reddish-purple
P: wiry, rapid, forceful
T: red, yellow coating
Diagnostic Pattern
Heat excess in the Liver and/or Gallbladder channels.

harmonize middle burner, regulate actions of others
Cautions and Contraindications
Can harm the Spleen. Should not be taken long term or in large doses, nor in cases with Spleen deficiency or injury to the fluids.
