Symptom
Subjective evidence of a disease that can only be communicated by the patient.
Sign
Objective evidence of disease that can be evaluated or measured.

Set of the signs and symptoms that occur together as a part of a disease process.

An attempt to determine which of several diseases could be causing the signs and symptoms.

Remission
Temporary, partial or complete disappearance of the symptoms of a disease without having achieved a cure.
