What happens when climatic conditions of morning humidity and warm days (Semillon)
Growth of a special mold called Botrytis cinerea. And as this mold grows over the berries and overtakes the cluster, it causes desiccation within the grapes and water loss, and the grapes are thereby enriched due to this dehydration. They’re enriched in sugar content and acid intensity, acid content, and they become spicy and have heavenly honeyed flavor resulting in wines that are quite sweet
What does Semillion bring to Bordeaux Blanc
A Semillon softens that racy Sauvignon Blanc fruit and actually helps to support the acidity of the resulting blend.

Some of the flavors that we might find due to Semillon are ripe apple, juicy fruit, melon, some white peach or nectarine, possibly apricot, and some honey and creaminess.
Is it oaked? what notes from oaked? Semillon
Often in Bordeaux Blanc, in white Bordeaux wines, again, the blend of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc where oak is used, malolactic may also be conducted, and these wines are honeyed with a lot of vanilin and toasty notes and buttery notes. In the long-term, Semillon may be better suited as blender than as a standalone varietal.
