What are the steps to disinfection?

A

wear disposable gloves
Use a solution of sodium hypochlorite (5.25%) diluted in a ration of 1:9
this disinfection solution can be used for up to 30 days (if stored in sealed opaque container)
Use a disposable cloth, allow sol’n to remain for 10 minutes. Rinse abundantly with water
Allow to air dry

A

let the injury bleed slightly
Clean the injury with water and mild soap
Rinse with water
If splashed on a mucous membrane (eyes, lips, mouth, inside nose):
rinse with abundant water as quick as possible to dilute contagion
